Two different ways of generating random quotes/verses.
The random quotes are loaded randomly from a text file, which you can easily edit to contain whatever quotes you like.
The random bible verses are loaded from an RSS feed which provides a new random verse each time you load it.
The Random Quotes currently contains 50 Homer Simpson quotes. But you can edit the text file to contain more or less quotes.
The Random Bible Verses load randomly from a choice of 430 bible verses from the ESV version.(preview is only loading randomly from 15 xml files as PHP is not availble for preview files) Please note a server that allows PHP scripts is required to load the bible verses. The PHP script is included. Instructions are also included on how to change this to load a specific bible verse instead of a random one by just editing one line in the PHP file.
Other Features: refresh button – this reloads a new quote/verse scroll arrows – these only appear if the quote/verse doesn’t fit in the text box.
Instructions are included for easily customising these files to your needs.
All script contained within the movie clips so you can easily drag and drop them into your flash file.
