I purchased this file and tired your instructions and I’m just getting a blank screen when I test the movie. It tests fine with your image when I first open the file and preview without make any changes…

I’ve imported my image to the .fla and replaced (‘img’ with my imported image name (‘myfilenamd’ My picture width is 590 and height 532 and I changed the stage size or did not and it still does not work?

Kindly advise.. Please be very specific because I’m a flash beginner.. I’m using Flash CS3 . I’m just doing something dumb I’m sure.

In the Linkage properties you need to select: Export for Action Script Export in first frame

You need to chage the size of stage like 590×590 and modify the rmdY value like: rmdY = 530; or more

HI!.. The script is awesome.. but I after messing around for a couple of hours I still haven’t realized how to chance the area of the puzzle. I’ve figured out how to move it around the stage, but not how to change its size. I’d appreciate your help.

Was wondering how it decides what to crop out of the image. I need the puzzle to generate the whole image without cropping it. Is there a way to figure out what size the image has to be when I am modifying the amount of pieces, etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Do I have to have a Flash editor to customize the image, or can the image and size be customized through an xml doc?
