Raw XML Editor with Hinting and Validation

This is an online editor for XML files. It edits the raw XML data, allowing for code hints and even XML validation. Please note, the preview file uses a shared object to save, so that you can get a true feel of the editing process. If I put the same file up for the preview as in the download (using PHP to edit the actual XML ), many people would be editing at the same time, and it would not give an accurate representation. The code coloring allows for easy editing, and can be turned off if needed.

Will not only edit XML , but any text based file, such as HTML , edit your HTML website right online!

XML validation can tell you whether or not the XML has errors, and if you have the debugger version of Flash, it can tell you why if it failed.

The saving will check the saved file once complete, and validate that the save was successful, and alert if it may not have been.

There is a revert feature that allows you to revert to the last saved version.

A config file allows you to easily edit many things, such as what XML file is getting edited, what the colors are for the hinting, whether or not it does the hinting at all, and what kind of line breaks are used in the saved file (mac and windows use different linebreaks)

The config file is XML , so in theory you could even set up a CMS to edit the config for another CMS and edit infinite XML files between the two!

PHP driven, will work on any correctly set up PHP capable server.

DISCLAIMER : You must have a PHP capable server for this to work! If you are having problems saving it is most likely a problem with the PHP and will be specific to your server. You will have to contact your host or go to a PHP specific forum to ask questions.
