Extremely realistic. Great effect!
Extremely realistic. Great effect!
Very well done!!!
BTW , if you set:
- smoke quantity higher
- RED maximum
- GREEN – in the middle
- BLUE – close to 0
and play a little with Vertical Accel
you end up with a pretty net fire effect.
Very cool…maybe it would be fine to scale the speed. it’s a little fast, isn’t it?
Beautiful!
Is there a way to view a demo of the files before purchasing? I haven’t been able to find a way to do that. Thanks for you help (whoever answers).
DiButcher: Do you mean a ‘FLA’ source demo?
I can take a screenshot of the source content, if that’s what you mean..

oleolson: Scale the speed?
Try reducing ALL the Rates and vertical acceleration to minimal values..
and set ‘BEGIN FADEOUT ’ to 100.
If all controls are set just right, you can slow it down enough.

Thanks oleolson – no actually what I meant – was a demo of all these flash files. I see that people comment on how cool they are – but I can’t figure out a way to view them before I purchase them.
i made a fire effect
red: Max blue: 0 green: middle fade in-rate: 1 fade out-rate: max begin fade..:max vertical rate: 0 vertical accel: -25 horizontal rate: 0 scale rate: 46 initial size: 54 quantity: 60
+Brighten & Light on
@DiButcher
Are you using IE? Is there a bar telling you that you have to let the Addon work on this site?
No – no bar.
Cool
DiButcher:
hmmm?
Sorry, but I’m still a bit confused by ‘demo of flash file’..
Not sure what you really mean..?
The only free demo available is the live .swf preview above..

zsbee:
actually a good flame/fire effect would approximately be:
quantity: 40, initial size: 40, scale rate: -10, v rate: 0, v accel: -20, h rate: 0, fade in: 40, begin fade out: 100, fade out: 30, red 255, green: 125, blue: 0, and only Brighten enabled..
Great..it is very realistic..
yeah, realistic!
Impressive!!
Got this and it is great effect, I then realized the project needs done in AS3 . Anyway to get it to work? All kinds of errors now.
That’s AWESOME
I love it
Is there a way to change the variables over the course of time? For example if i have the movieclip on the timeline and at 50frames, the particles increase or color changes? Just curious. Kick ass stuff by the way!
