Can I change the shape of the magnifier in the .fla? I need it to me more of an oval or a rounded rectangle. if so, I will buy the product.

So Sorry for the delay.. I don’t always check the discussion/comment areas..

Yes, with a little modification to the bitmap/colormap clip you can change the shape to oval or any other shape..

I can’t get it to work.

How/Where do I change the background to a picture of my choice so that it zooms to that instead of the cat eyes?

OK, I’m figuring it out now. You have to double-click as deep as possible into the background layer and then import it. I’m also figuring out how to change the shape of the magnifier. Same thing except you have to also change the shape of the effect in the “Lens Color Map” also to match it.

This FLA has symbols inside of symbols inside of symbols, etc. But this is great learning experience for a Flash newbie like me. Plus I’ve discovered (accidentally) some really cool effects with this.

To be fair, after I’ve played around with this for awhile to get more accustomed to it, I’ll rate it. Loving it so far.

I need your help.

Instead of clicking and dragging the glass, I need the glass to follow a custom cursor, and that cursor changes when clicked.

Similar to http://activeden.net/item/custom-cursor-hand/54688 but pretend it has your glass next to it.

The glass doesn’t need to change.

I purchased the one above but was unable to implement its concept into your code.

What I have so far is an arrow pointing to the glass. I can click and drag the arrow and the glass follows. The only way to get this to work is to put the arrow symbol into the LenGraphic symbol. I want the whole thing to work like a cursor but the arrow changes size and color on mouse click. Should be simple based on the one I just purchased above, but it’s not working.

Never mind, I figured it out. Was thinking too much and made it harder than it was.

Can someone tell me how to change the refraction and/or magnify strength with just the click of a mouse?

Hi, I would like the lens to move (tween) from point A to point B and stop.

Without having to drag the lens. So the lens would move by itself. How would you do that ?

Thank you !
