Hi,

Is there anyway to give scroll bars to the image once the window is shrunk to an extent that most of the picture is being cut off?

Thanks

Hi smithwas71,
You can do it in 2 ways:
1. Make some adjutment to the FLA file.
2. use the swffit smart script.

If you need any custom work, please contact me.

it’s not work! one picture can not display smooth in different size of screen. the picture looks rough.

I imported a 1920×1200 picture into your FLA , but the swf display very rough at 1680×1050.

it’s can’t be a background to suit different size screen.

the AS looks very simple…

Hi there,

So all I need to do it design and put my movie clips on the same layer as the “Resize your Broswer” box and everything should work and resize when needed?

What if I have different scenes in my flash movie?

Hi there,

I just purchased it and notice a border around the photograph and a scrollbar, when I publish it with html?

I tried it with your original cs3 version and the same thing happens. I am using safari. Any ideas how to get rid of the scrollbar and the border around the photograph?

cheers

HI,
1. Check if you use the image exactly as in my file.
2. Check your HTML code file so it contain the 100% size and ‘noscale’ statement.

If you changed the resolution you should change also the X:Y location of your movieClip.

Hi Leo,
This issue requires some programming and adjustment and it can take some time to solve it. I can’t really think about an easy way to help in describing it, there’s too much details and adjustment for doing it.

Hi ranfirefly,

I just purchased your file, and I think it’s great. I just had a few minor questions. I am creating a website and I want the whole website to be full screen. It stays full screen when always on the home page ( in reference to the background image i am using). When it navigates into another page, it doesn’t scale accordingly. How do I keep it so that the whole site including backgrounds for different sections stay consistent with being full screen all the time? Can you help me? If you want to take a look at my file i’m more than willing to send… Thank you in advance. reeser

I have been looking for a while for something like this thanks.

One Question:

How do I make the width always 100% of the browser window. My content left to right is important but I can afford to have some trimmed off the top or bottom.

Thanks Again.

Just bought your file and it resize beautifully. But I notice that if the screen resize is large, the background image turn pixelated and rough. What do I have to do to keep the background image smooth as the browser window is getting larger….?

The solution is to import your image in bigger size and higher quality, so in that way it compensate if if you make the browser bigger than the original size of your image.

This resize fla file does not seem to work well with type fonts. The fonts on the background images I uploaded always look jagged-y no matter how large the file of the image is. Is there any fix to this situation?

Hi manphoto1,
Go to your Library, double click your image (Bitmap Properties window is open up) and make sure the ‘Allow Smoothing’ is checked.
Test your movie.
