Hi

I bought this calendar, great product! My question is, I am trying to make the (I believe the symbol is called Ribbon?) taller.. it’s the colored background behind the event name in the calendar, in the monthly view, not detail view, the thin background that stretches across an event listing which is blue, orange, etc..

Can you tell me how to do that? I tried to make it taller by editing the Ribbon symbol but it stays short.

Hi,

Great product but I’m having a few issues with the deepLinks being a little touchy.

Please check out the example at http://www.thewesternport.com.au/ and click on the rockin at the westernport link at the top of page.

After selecting test2 from the calendar (or any other event), you’ll notice that the link is there but it takes a special touch to be able to click it.

Could you give me your thoughts.

The link does work, but the click is touchy – meaning that it takes a few clicks or a click in a certain spot etc for it to work.

The calendar is loaded into a container swf so I wonder if that could be the issue?

I’ll hunt around before pm you to fix it for me…

1) I have noticed a couple of things with this calendar. I cannot get it to sort properly. I can have two events in one day (one at 1:00pm and one at 3:00pm) that occur once a month. The calendar most of the time will display the 1:00pm event first. For some unknown reason, it will occasionally switch the order (even though it’s the same information).

I noticed that the order they were placed in the xml file makes NO difference. Perhaps this might be the best way to sort the times properly.

2) When you click on an event to get the long description it should really display the date (Month/Day) with that.

3) For some reason this is the only xml file that my xml-editor has problems with. It seems to go in slow motion when typing data and takes forever. I would normally attribute a long xml file as the problem but I have much longer files that you can type quickly in. Do you know what might be bogging the editors down?

For some reason, ActiveDen is not posting my whole write-up so I sent you an email.

Is it possible to have a Google map embedded in the detailcontent cdata tag in the XML file? It doesn’t seem to be possible to me after trying to use the iframe. It just shows the text link. I have been able to get an image and text to work in the detailcontent tag but would also like to include a map from Google or Bing etc. Thanks for creating this calendar. It is exactly what I needed for a project. I appreciate the support you are providing for this item.

Question, please: It is possible to turn the deep-linking function off for certain dates, and leave it on for others?

On some events, I want to click the bar in the date and go to an outside webpage.

Other events I want to retain the deeplink function.

Possible, or is it an all-on all-off proposition?

I was just about to buy this, whne I notice the top left corner has a resizable comment on a ribbon, wth the the select date and comment under it and barly readable. Click on a date (i.e. meeting) and it show the date and the title under the resizable ribbon..

Is there a fix, can it be edited out?

Is it possible to get the title streght across 2 or more dates, and center?

I noticed in a previous post that you said events are ordered by time(date). what is the format of the dateBegin and dateEnd entries in the config.xml so that I can order the items by date and time, so that they show correctly on the calendar IE: 6:00 first 6:45 second that kind of thing?

Great calendar! I love it; however, I need to make the calendar 200px X 400px and the object can only go to 300px in width before it wont go any further. How do I fix this issue?

Hi, thanks for the great product, it is exactly what we were looking for. We’ve go everything up and working well. However we haves problems whenever we want to customise the line heights or font sizes.

We alter the font sizes and line heights in the ResizeableEventsCalendar.as file as suggested in a earlier post. Open the source.fla file and go straight to re-publish the swf using the Flash Player 8 and AS 2 .0 settings already selected in the file. But when we open the HTML file all calendar months text have disappeared or look like ‘AC’, ‘BC’, ‘BB’ and all the event detail pages do the same thing.

Do you have any advice or suggestions on what could be causing this to happen, or how we can publish the swf correctly? The same thing happens even if we just unzip the original files and re-publish the swf. No changes to any of the files whatsoever. Just so you know, we’re using CS5 .5 to do the publishing, I’m not sure if that makes any difference.
