Thanks – have downloaded. Stupid question – I’m new to flash and have put your ripple effect into another movie clip and it’s acting very strange. DO I need to tweek the actionscript?

Hi, All you need to do is replace the background image and it should ripple.
Can this work in AS 3 ?

This is an AS2 File, You will need to edit the AS for it to work in an AS3 file.

2 questions: can I set the image to ripple dynamicaly (with php or xml) ? Will it work with large image (like 300px / 1000px) ?

Hi There, no the image ripple is handled within flash, no external sources, you are welcome to try it by adding the functionality. It will work with any size image.
