Secure Client Area with Admin Panel v2.0

With my Secure Client Area v2.0 you can quickly manage files between you and your clients through this application. You can create new users within seconds and add files to the users project page in an instant! You and your clients login through the same portal.

You (as an admin) will have access to:
  • Create/edit admins and users
  • Create/edit projects
  • Allow/disallow clients to upload files on a per project basis
  • Allow/disallow your clients to download image files
  • Upload any file type
  • Upload/edit/reorder/view/delete projects

Automatic thumbnail creation when uploading PNG , JPG and GIF

When uploading image files, a thumbnail will be automatically created which is viewable on the client side in the thumbnail view. No more having to manually create thumbnails!

Your clients will login and see all and any projects available to them. Once a user opens their project they will see a basic file manager that gives them the option to open (if possible) or download the file. They are also able to edit their own settings as well as contact you through the secure client area. The client can customize the display of their files by selecting “list” view or “thumbnail” view!

The setup is super easy and can be done in less than 5 minutes!

01/14/11 – NEW FEATURES

  • When uploading PNG , GIF or JPG PHP will automatically create thumbnails. This is viewable on the client side in thumbnail view
  • Added the option of list view and thumbnail view on the client side
  • Deleting a client, project or project item will delete all files on the server associated with whichever you delete
  • The enter key will now log you in

01/04/11 – NEW FEATURE

  • Added the ability (as an admin) to allow/disallow the download of an image file. For example, if you were a photographer and wanted the images downloadable, you could check the download check box next to the file. This activates the download link for your clients. This is on a per file basis. By default, downloading of images is turned off so if you want them on you have to check the download box after they are uploaded.

11/29/10 – NEW FEATURE

  • Added a forgot username and forgot password feature.
    • The user will receive their username or password to theiir email upon successful email lookup.

07/26/10 – UPDATE & NEW FEATURE

  • Large images now scale proportionally if they exceed the width and height of the users browser.
  • Upon downloading a file, the download button remains disabled and says “Complete” now instead of re-enabling itself and saying “Download”.

05/20/10 – UPDATE

  • Fixed a bug where you sort the client list, try and open a client and it opens the wrong client.

04/16/10 – UPDATE

  • When making new projects, you must now choose a folder name. This makes it so each project will have its own folder and files that are uploaded will go in there. If you’ve already purchased, you will need to redownload and remake the database as I have added a new field.
  • Fixed bug that caused uploads on a mac to freeze

04/12/10 – UPDATE

  • Fixed bug that didn’t allow apostrophes in filename. (just need to replace upload.php)
  • Fixed padding issue of file grid, client side.
  • Fixed padding issue of admin list, client list and file list, admin side.

03/30/10 – NEW FEATURES

  • The admin can choose to allow a client to upload on a per project basis.
  • The admin can choose to automatically notify the client when new files are posted.
  • If the user can upload to a project, the user can choose to automatically notify the admin when new files are posted.
