Simple and Easy Logo Scroller

Hello ChristianKragh, I’ve purchased the file, but I’m having two complications.

1st is i need the file to have a transparent background. I’ve tried changing the parameters within the object tags in addition to several other ways of importing the file into the page. I’ve also tried turningthe settings in the xml to none. Any suggestions.

2nd issue I keep having is that the files does not run in sub directories unless I copy the xml data to each sub directory. Is there another way to modify it so that all the directories can find it from one path?

The issue above is a word press related issue.

I just bought the file and needed help with formatting the size of the scroller to 400×30 pixels.

I tried resizing the ‘swf’ in HTML but then none of the logos [or any small part of them] were visible.

Also, I need the background to be white but don’t know where to change it.

There is a ‘jerk’ at the start of the scroll loop [first logo defined in XML ] if I increase the ‘logo spacing’.

Your sample XML file had logo_spacing=”0” but I changed it to 20. Can you resolve this?

Notice the ‘envato’ logo [which is the first in the loop sequence] when it reaches the left side after the first scroll – it visibly jerks/shifts per the size of logo spacing – I have kept it 50.

I’m trying to resize to 829px x 55px. Logos aren’t showing up. They show up when I change the height to 200px. Please help!

I have the same issue. Why would you create a SWF object that requires itself to be in the root of whatever HTML page is calling it?

It does not work, at all, in my website where I need to store the files in /uploads/scroller/logos.swf

but I need to call it on the page /index.html

it never finds your XML file. I tried hard coding the destination into the FLA file, and it breaks your SWF logo placement calculations (not really sure why or how it would do this).

My hard-coded destination: /wp-content/uploads/logoScroller/content.xml

I will remove/change my rating if your product can be fixed to allow SWF to call xml file from any folder on the server. Otherwise its useless as I won’t use something that confines where I need to place and organize my files.

not sure how, but somehow it worked when I put it in the uploads folder. bazaar. Anyways for those of you who plan to use this with wordpress, be ready to modify the FLA file AS3 script since the SWF doesn’t take in any parameters.

Hi there… I just purchased this for the updated version (V2) and it was extremely easy to set up and comments here were also extremely helpful!

One question; after about 25 seconds of scrolling, my logos seem to ‘refresh’, stopping mid-way and then starting again from the beginning. I’m waiting to go live until fixed, so I did not upload. Any ideas?
