Simple and Flexible XML Client Map

nice file. 5 stars.

However the .”fla” doesn’t work…impossible to compile it… no error message…but like a bugy loop at the screen…the preloader alternated with the map… maybe a button is not linked with the actionscript…or something else..

can you checkup the ZIP archive please.

i use CS3 , and i haven’t modifyed anything inside the fla, just launched it.

Sorry to say that but, with the new updated .zip, it doesn’t work FOR ME , maybe that it will work fine for the next costumer.

I have the error message : line 24 and 47 of the Controller.as

24 private var clientsDot:ClientsDot; 47 clientsDot = new ClientsDot();

i will try to understand all the code and perhaps that i will find a solution. I was just a little bit lazy :o) (it was only to change the design of the map..that’s all…so…i think that i will wait for next customers experiences and comments)

I would like to report the same issue as FlashMoon above.

I opened up the .FLA file using Flash CS3 and modified the map color. When I clicked Publish, two compiler errors were reported:

• Location / Description / Source ============================
• Controller.as Line 24 / 1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: ClientsDot.

(you ask” Is this FlashMoon or who is this?”) lol yes this is me (Eric)

We have a large number of customers in certain geographic regions. Is there a way to zoom into the map to see a more detailed view of a specific area?

Is it possible to replace the background image (map) with another, still keeping the xml settings…?

Don’t need the complete word map, only one country. And is it possible to add images to the html text?

I’m having big issues loading this file in another fla, that also uses caurina, however caurina AS2 version.

When I render it seperate it works with its own caurina folder.

How can I load clientmap.swf in a AS2 fla that uses AS2 caurina? I can make a seperate folder for caurina AS3 version, but I don’t know how to refer to it.

Must be a solution for it…I hope…otherwise this was a waste for me.

Hi – I’m running the swf file from my webserver and it works fine, I’ve added new points and changed the colours etc. The issue I have is when I try to change the colour of the map (by changing the tint of the movie clip). When I update the swf on the server nothing seems to have happened.

Any suggestions?

need some help… I am having the same issue as FlashMoon had… the map just flickers in a loop.. from the map to the loading image… help!
