SIMPLE FLASH GALLERY

Hi there, I just got this flash gallery and it is perfect for my website. Only trouble is that i have not been able to get the thumbnails to work properly. They don’t seem to load the pics. Everything works nice except the loading from the thumbs. the main left right button work ok. I am assuming it is something to do with the actionscript addressing as I have inserted the gallery into my existing website .fla file and figure that maybe I need to adjust something in the actionscript to make it all work. To insert into my .FLA I copied all the components from the library of the main.fla file for your gallery into the library for my .FLA. I then placed the components into the appropriate frame on my .FLA. The othe rthought I had was do I need to insert additonal frame sequivalent to the number of frames in your gallery movie clip? Any help as soon as possible would be great. I am happy to email a link to my files so you can se what I mean but don’t want to post it publicly. cheers Andy

What do you mean with not being able to load the thumbnails? You don’t see images or you can’t see the thumbnails at all? Please send us a preview to check what is happening.

the thumbnails appear with images in them alongside the corresponding scrolling image numbers at the bottom of the gallery, But clicking on the thumbnails doesn’t load the relevant image or any image. nothing happens on lick of the thumbnails or the image numbers. problem solved ….... steep learning curve but i figured out my moviclips code thanks

How do I change the pause delay between each slide?

I Triworks, excellent job with this file, it works perfect and i was able to customize it to suit my images´size needs very easly.

However, i foud that when i need to use less than 24 images in the gallery something buggy happens: The number box “hit” bar keeps active even though there is not any box shown and when reaching the 13 o 14 box all the “toltip thumbs ” and the whole number box menu behavez randomly.

I hope you can fix this since my prject needs a less than 24 images gallery. I faound a temporary solution by adding “blank boxes and thums” and loading “blank” images inside the gallery (all from the xml)-

I have problem with displaying images while there is not full list of images. Using 16 images the second half is shaking while choosing. The same as previous comment.

It seems that items cannot resolve if they should appear left or right. They switch between both sides at the moment.

Just try run the gallery with 16 images. (tested on Opera and Firefox lv.)
