Simple Uploader

any idea how i can upload 200mb files… seems to time out around 10mb… I have changed all settings mentioned in previous posts but still cannot upload large amounts.. when you built this file were you able to upload 200mb and over???

Well, I will try install but, sorry, I only know, open file and press command return, :)). So, I will need help and You can tell-me how many. See later!

can someone help me its working fine and uploading the file great but it doesnt give any indication that the file has been uploaded….

Hey – I love this tool. I have recently had reports from clients of this failing though. I believe I have it tracked down to the most recent Flash update – 10.1.53.64. It works fine on some machines with older versions of Flash player like 10.0.45.2. I tested your demo on this page with 10.1.53.64 and it never triggers the Javascript feedback stuff. On my server, it says the upload is complete but the file never actually gets uploaded. Any chance of an update of this to support the most recent version of Flash player or any thoughts on how to resolve the problem? I would hate to have to switch out all instances of this on my sites. Not sure if it is a Flash bug or something has changed on their end.

Hi! I met the javascript triggering problem too, and it seems the latest flash player update stands behind it (as usual). After some hours of endless agony i tried a good old trick, and publisher the original fla as a flash10 file. Well well, its not the most elegant solution, but it works fine now. Thanks.

Webylon – thank you for the advice! I am currently running CS3 so I can’t publish in Flash 10 but I have been wanting to upgrade and this gives me the perfect excuse! Thanks for posting this, I really appreciate the time it will save me from having to redo many of my client’s sites!

Hi, i want to use this just in a simple html page. I don’ t need to include it into any other Flash page. It was well explained to integrate it but what about if i want to use it just in a page ? When i open the index page i don’t see anything. Could you please help ? Thanks in advance and Regards
