Nice but blur is a little too dramatic for my liking. Also add slideshow option…..all these kinds of items should have that option.

This looks great but the blur is extremely annoying – is there an option in the XML file to remove/add the blur?

hi audioicon, you can change one line of code to avoid blurring. If you can’t open fla I will send you no blurred version too. I ‘ve updated description. It’s quick and easy.

I need to change the color, but it looks like you didn’t include the image. Could you send that to me.

Is there anyway of changing the size of the text box and also changing the alpha of it? – woudl suit my site better if it was “transparent”.

go to btn button in library and edit the “over” status box

size og text box is not editable but you can change text size in style.css

ok, very new to flash files and programming etc…. I purchased the Simply News Ticker and got most everything to work as I needed it to EXCEPT , where in the world do I change the url setting to go from a ” _blank ” to a “_self” when I click on the news item? in other words I dont want it to open a whole new drop down window…

open news.as

find :

navigateToURL(myURL, “_blank”);

replace with:

navigateToURL(myURL, “_self”);

open news.fla and recompile it with flash

If i want load images from an external url, how i do? for example if i do this: < img >http://www.site.com/images/pic.jpeg< /img > the image don’t shows never
