Sliced Image Effect (AS2 & AS3)

I’m not clear. I want to use animation #1 from the test file. In which frame do I insert it? And what code must I erase?

Can I find in this file all action script 3 code and all the documentation to add it?

i am not sure i fully understand your question. the item you will buy has two version. one is written in as2 other one is in as3. there is no other difference between them. of course as3 one is a lot faster, so i recommend it while using big immages.

it is not that hard to use, you first choose image is in library or it will be downloaded from external source. if it is in library you specify the “linkage” name, else you change the address of image. these steps are both the same in as2 and as3

for animations you will need some actionscript knowledge and examine examples a bit.

Every time I try this with my image, it crashes in frame 5.

Ok.. you should mention that this script doesn’t work if your images aren’t the same width and height…

I uploaded it, it is in queue now.

I am using an image 360×270 and the transition seems very slow. FR is 30.

I saw the pastie information from ste3v3 and would like to try some of the other variations, but I am not sure where they show go:

alpha = 1-(new_d/d);

scaleX = 1-(3); scaleY = 1-(3(new_d/d));

Any help would be great. I am learning AS3 …

I was able to add the effects (above found on the 5th frame of the movie clip)...very interesting

I just purchased this and it will not open in Flash 8 on my Mac.

Hi, the effect suits me for a project I’m working but I’d need it to go faster, it takes too much time in composing the image for what I need it… is it possible to modify the speed of image composition and effect in the parametres?
