Do I have to know XML for using this banner?
No, it is your choice whether you use our configurator for creating and changing a banner or you can edit the xml directly.
Do I have to have know ActionScript for using this banner?
No, you do not. There is a nice configurator/CMS included with whom you configure the banner. After saving the resulting XML your banner will do what you wanted him to do 
How can i change the font types, and how can i change the embedded charachters?
- Open the main.fla file.
- Press CTRL +L to open the Library
- Double Click on the temptxt to edit Font Typ 1 or double click on temptxt2 to edit Font Typ 2
- Swap to the Stage and click on the txt Dynamic Text
- Select any Font Typ to change the Font Typ
- Click on Embed Character Options to open the Character Embedding dialog box, and select any other character sets or type your own charachters and click OK to change the embedded charachtes
- Compile the swf file again with CTRL +Enter
Is there a ready-to-go SWF -File integrated? Do I have to compile a FLA ?
Yes, there is a ready2go SWF -File in the package.
You can configurate your banner with the new configurator or directly in the xml.
When you save your XML you can see your items directly in the allready compiled SWF -File. You do not have to open Flash.
Will the configurator save my config file?
If you use the server version it will (write permissions necessary).
If you use the client version you will have to copy&paste the XML code you receive from the configurator.
Can I edit the XML directly?
Yes, of course! You can still configure the banner directly in XML without the configurator.
My banner is located in an other folder as my embedding html site. How should I implement this?
All paths have to be relative to the embedding html document or have to be absolute paths.
For example if your embedding document is in root and the banner files are located in /Flash/Banner you have to call ./Flash/Banner/main.swf and ./Flash/Banner/config.xml in the object source. Or absolute, e. g.: http://www.flashhorvath.com/Flash/Banner/main.swf and http://www.flashhorvath.com/Flash/Banner/config.xml.
And please replace all links in the config.xml (or whatever your xml is named) in a similar way. For example use find&replace and search for “objects/” and replace it with ”./Flash/Banner/objects/”. This way all image paths will be altered (background, layers, and icons).
