I’m a little bit of a noob when it comes to flash players….but is there a way to have this on a site and not have the music stop when the viewer goes to the next page?

Awesome player! I’ve got it starting on a random track when it loads. Is there a way to make it change to another random track every time I hit the next button instead of just playing the next track in order?

Hello, I am having a strange masking issue when republishing this file (only altering the stage size). The playlist doesn’t get masked at the bottom anymore. Your original swf appears fine. But no matter which publish settings I choose in Flash CS5 , I get this behavior. Any ideas?

I opened the FLA in CS5 and made NO changes to the file. I simply saved it as CS4 and published the swf as Flash 8, Actionscript 2 (and Flash 9, Flash 10) all with the same result. Look here and scroll through the playlist: http://www.digitalhecht.com/music.htm The track titles are not masked at the bottom.

Is there a way to specify XML location from flashvars? The player does not find the playlist when loaded from a secondary page.

Returns error “undefined – undefined” in player song window.

Also, do I need flash to edit any part of this file?

Good documentation and instruction. Would have helped, however, to include the publishing code for the front end, and include only the player in the .fla file, instead of the whole big preview box and navigation. Were it not for having to eliminate all the ancillary stuff and then reduce the file dimensions, one wouldn’t have to open Flash at all.
