The SOTM component is designed to fill 2 basic demands:

1: A solid way for your clients to attract more visitors:

Play teasers of tracks in your main player and use the SOTM as an addition to your site to feature a full length song once a month / week or day, making sure your site remain of interest both visually and audibly!

2: The flash developers that isn´t in need of a full scaled mp3 player/music section but who still want to be able to offer music to their clients.

Ready to use:

SOTM requires nothing but a simple copy and paste from the user, still it offers several modifications.
One of many great features is that it comes with four integrated skins:
black, blue green and red.

All simply accessed through the XML .

Others specs are smooth tween transitions / sound fades ,3 click button positions / 3 auto stage positions etc…

SOTM uses XML extensively for modifications, here´s the attribute list:

volume: 0 – 100 %, sets song volume
autoStart: yes / no, auto plays the song
path: song path
loop: true / false, loops song
title: the title of your “song of the month”
btnHeader: the header on the open / close button
img: path for song thumbnail
imgAnim: true / false, if set to true thumbnail animates with a blur when opening component
closeText: sets text for close button
descText: sets description text for the open / close button
volumeText: changes the volume text
stagePos: center / right / left, positions the component horizontally, always glued to the bottom
openCloseBtnPos: center / right / left, positions the open / close button
componentGlow: true / false, activates a glow for the component
glowAmount: standard between 0 to 2, sets the amount of the glow
glowColor: uses standard “oxFFFFFF” values to set glow color
startFade: sets the time in seconds for the initial component to fade in
theme: black / blue / green / red, sets color themes for the component
themeGlow: true / false, if set to true and “componentGlow” is set to true – glow color will adapt itself to the selected theme
