Sound on_off controller

After some time appears a orange line UNDER the “sound off” label, what means?

Nice component. Very simple to use, and customize. You can even set the bars to zero so they don’t appear. Only question I have is the same as Eustaice’s (what’s with the vertical bar that appears beneath the the component when it plays? Would be nice to be able to specify the text color too.

Well I had to put a mask over it to hide the vertical bar. It was so annoying. But with the mask over it doesn’t show the type. So I just added my own with acts as a button.

is there a way to stop and start the animation and the sound via scripting (without pushing the button)?

there are two functions called in the frame soundoff() & soundon(), call the soundoff() function when you dont want the sound & when u need it again call the othe function.

Hi, there. When I bring the component into my Flash file, the speed of the animation increases tremendously. Is there any way to overcome this? Thanks!

I’d like to have the sound off initially, giving the user the ability to play the sound if they require?

I see you mentioned the sound off and sound on functions, I just can’t work out what to change, if you could be a little more specific in what i need to change in the actionscript, that would be much appreciated.

For some reason, when I publish my flash file, which actually only includes this files and I place it on an html page, the sound off functionality stops working. Any suggestions?

A ha. Got it. Had to change the z-index for that div in my page layout. Ok so when I click sound off, i get a flash of the orange bar all the way to the left. I have changed my bar color to a tan so its very obvious. Is there a way to apply the bar color change to that as well?

Hi Just purchased this file. very good and easy to use.

One question though…... I have added your file as a back ground sound through out the whole site…...when I load another Flash movie which has sounds on, on top the current background movie, the on and off button on your file will have an effect on the other file as well…...what I mean is when I press the off button on your file the whole sound in my entire site will be off instead of just turning off the back ground sound…...

any help will be appreciate it. thanks
