Spinning Earth Globe (with Controlled Speed)

This is a very nice flash piece. However, when blowing up the vector globe the cpu spikes through the roof and if you set globe speed to 0 the cpu usage drops to nothing.

How can we get the globe to spin and reduce the amount of CPU usage that is used. If you look at firefox cpu usage when the globe is spinning you can see it continues to eat away at the CPU .

Can we make it spin and perhaps stop? The speed of the rotation from 0 to 100 doesnt change the amount of CPU used.

Hello, just bought your globe – how can I reverse the spin direction – please let me know…

I bought the spinning globe and asked Cesgra how to reverse the spin direction. Cesgra went the extra mile and provided a revised version. How do i get it from action script 2.0 to 3.0 my web host will only take 3.0? Nice Design by the way.

Can you change this from Action Script 2.0 to 3.0 for me. It would be much appreciated as i am new to flash?

Cesgra, Great file. I have a question for you. On this version with the speed controls the globe really doesn’t look like it’s spinning. Were on the other globe with no speed controls it looks like it’s spinning around.

Hi I just bought it today. Its look great. Only one question though, is there any way I can remove the background as I only need the globe and want to use the background as transparent. Thanks

I bought this file thinking the modification I was making on the site would be what I was buying. I do not have the software to edit the SWF file, can you do the modifications for me. If so I would like the file in 300×300 land color 5d8409, ocean a deep blue, with no background just the globe, thanks.
