Supreme Jukebox

INTRODUCTION
Another MP3 Player? Yes, but this one has some very cool features and slick design. It’s also very customizable, lightweight, efficiently coded and thoroughly commented. You can change the apprearance, setup, functionality and design (even the colors) all through variables set in the XML ! Our mission was to build a better MP3player.

The horizontal version of the player is designed to integrate into a bar running along the top or bottom of a site, delivering a full featured MP3 Jukebox with a small footprint.

This dynamic streaming MP3 jukebox uses the songlist.xml XML file to populate the playlist with your mp3s. This is the first file in our new component set that will focus on portability, aesthetics and useful features.

FEATURES
There are 3 main areas of this mp3 jukebox, all fully customizable via Flash vars! The file uses songlist.xml to populate the jukebox with your mp3s, thumbnails and descriptions, and settings.xml to setup the features, dimensions, colors and design.

SLIM JUKEBOX
The minimal player has song selection buttons, a clickable volume selector, a clickable scrubber bar with easing, and the track Artist / Title text and Running Time / Total Track Time information. Basically, it’s everything you need in a compact, “simple” Mp3player.

SCROLLING PLAYLIST
The optional Scrolling Playlist expands from the Slim Jukebox, and provides a scrolling interface for song selection, each Playlist item consists of the track Artist and Title, Running Time and Album Thumbnail.

The Scrolling Playlist has two transition modes, Slide or Fade, providing developers the option of choosing either via vars set in the XML file. In addition, the placement can be set here as well, providing developers with a way to have the Playlist appear above or below the Minimal Player.

TRACK INFO
The track info area can be turned on via vars set in the XML file to give users even more information about a track, providing a large thumbnail of the album artwork, multiple text fields for track and album info, and an open HTML enabled text field below, which is useful to link to musicians’ Myspace, official websites, iTunes pages or even a link to buy it in a store… it’s a great way to promote the musicians.

EASY TO RESIZE , CHANGE THE DESIGN , COLORS ETC .
It’s easy to change the width and size, color and features of the player in the settings.xml file. Flash developers that desire further customization will find the library organized and the code well commented, making it easy to make your change.

PRESET SKINS AND CONFIGURATIONS READY TO GO
You can use this player right out of the box with three different skins.
