Hi, are there any plans to support volumn control?
Thanks
I hope you will reconsider it because it is useful to have, all players (major and not) have this feature. Controlling the volume via the system or speakers is an argument but also there are cases where either you don’t have instance access to speakers (because they might not be close to you when you sit in front of your computer) and it’s very convenient to have to bring on the volume panel from windows or have to add the volume to tray icon, on a mac it is much easier of course having the volume control on the keyboard (there are keyboards that support this for windows too) but not everyone have mac or keyboards with volume control etc.
Personally I love the simplicity of the player that’s why I chose to use it on my project but the arguments I have above are arguments few people told me and made me consider finding a player that support’s volume control (although that I like your player the most), if I knew AS/flash I would try it myself and not ask about it
Thanks!
Hi,
I been trying to solve a problem for 3 hours and im about to go loco.
This happens with some of the videos i tryied, others work perfect.
Asked some friends to take a look but they couldent even see what i was talking about so I added a small screenshot under the video. Thats how it looks on my computer using firefox, safari, opera etc..
Example: http://www.lcflaw.com/yt/video02.htmlHave you seen this problem before? what could it be.
:/
Ah. I think I know what’s happening. I discovered this bug in youtube’s chrome less player just the other day. Didn’t realize it affected this player. I’ll get on solving the issue. Meanwhile shoot me a private message through my profile and I can send you the updated files as soon as I have them later this morning.
Hi Marco,
When I set wmode to transparent, the video is playing but the player doesn’t show at all. I know the video is playing because of the sound of the video.
Only happens in IE.
I need to set wmode to transparent because there is a div with fixed position in my page.
Here is the code I use: <object id="flash_player" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="640" height="360"><!-- Flash + Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera -->
<param name="movie" value="yt_player.swf" />
<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
<param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
<param name="flashvars" value="v=mov/lamb1.mp4" />
<!--[if !IE]>-->
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" data="yt_player.swf" width="640" height="360"><!-- Flash + Firefox, other -->
<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
<param name="flashvars" value="v=mov/lamb1.mp4" />
<!-- for non flash devices use the HTML5 video tag -->
</object>
<!--<![endif]-->
</object>
Regards, Alex
Sure
It calls the page http://www.autohd.fr/A2/ajax.html (as you can see, the page is blank).
So it works in Chrome/Safari…, not in IE.
Thx, Alex
