michels287, no, the way it works is you just write your button name in the XML and it creates the buttons automatically. So if you want to change the look of the buttons, you would have to go into the FLA and change the generic button. Thanks.

The Shifting Menu now has the feature of scrolling the text if it is longer than the given space.

I have just purchased this shifting menu, when I open the .SWF I get the following error:

Error #2044: Unhandled ioError:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. URL : file:///Users/amir/Documents/Amir Shah Photo/Site Folder/theShiftingMenu/gallery.xml at theShiftingMenu_fla::menuClip_1/frame1()

I am a bit of a novice at scripting, could you put me in the right direction here.

Hello I have download your file but i’am having a problem on the xml enconding . In the i type the link with some accents like : ç ; à ; ão ; í ; ões and in the flash they don’t appear . I have try to change the <?xml version=”1.0”?> to <?xml version=”1.0” encoding=”UTF-8”?> and still have the same problem with the links.
