Is there anyway to make it obey browser scale? Like with IE8 you can scale up 125%, 150%, etc.

I see the SCALE parameter in the HTML set to “noscale” – tried changing this to “scale” or “yes”, but still doesn’t scale. Just wondering if that does anything or not.

I’m really interested in this file. But I’d like to know a few things before getting it.

1. The hide & show menu at the bottom, can it be disabled so that it shows all the time?

2. There’s a gap between the first image and the left side of browser window. Also last image with the right side browser window. Can it be set easily so that there’s no gap?

3. The images on the menu has boxes with shawdow. Is it possible to take that out easily? I only want the menu to be images, with no box and no shadow. Can the gaps between each images be set easily in xml?

I’m very interested with this snake menu. I’d like to ask a few things before buying it.

1. Can the show/hide feature for the thumbs at the bottom be disabled? I’d like to have it ‘show’ at all times.

2. Is it possible to exclude the box and blur background for the thumbs? I’d like to have just images, with no box or blur?

3. When I scroll to the first or to the last image, it has this wide gap. Is it possible not to have that gap? Also Between each thumbnail images can it be set to, let’s say, 1px?

Hi Christian, I am thinking about buying this image gallery, with the intention of modifying it so that the menu bar is always visible (less experienced users may otherwise miss the existence of the menu). It is therefore important to me that the menu looks good at all times.

However, when the mouse pointer is positioned near the bottom of any thumbnail I have noticed that the menu sometimes goes into a mode where many of the thumbnails are continuously shaking from side to side. This movement is significant enough to draw the user’s eyes away from the featured image, and is thus not very welcome. Is this fixable?

Hi Christian, I might be prepared to take the risk of buying your gallery on the assumption that I would find a way to keep the menu permanently visible. However, I’m more reluctant to spend my money when there is a risk that the twitching bug is beyond my skills to fix.

In other words, I would prefer that you make an attempt to fix the twitching bug yourself. This would also benefit other purchasers of your gallery, who might then be more likely to give it a five-star rating.

Hi Christian, Thanks for the offer but why don’t you just fix the twitching bug in the standard version of the code so that I can see that it works without new side effects in the demo on ActiveDen?

If you have a good clean fix for that bug then I can see no good reason why you would want to leave your code unmodified. While it makes commercial sense for you to save up new functionality for V3 of your gallery, I feel that bugs in the current version are worth squashing as soon as possible.

Hi Christian, Thanks for the changes made so far. The menu in the demo is now much more stable and the option to keep the menu visible provides welcome added flexibility for the user.

However, I have only just realised that your gallery does not appear to have an autoplay facility. That is quite a significant omission from my point of view. How easy would it be for you to plug that gap?

Without autoplay, I don’t think I would have a use for your gallery. From memory, I think most (if not all) of the image gallery programs I’ve looked at here on Activeden have had this feature. Adding it to yours might therefore be a way to increase your sales.

However, I fully understand your position. I’ll check back here every so often just to see if things have changed. Good luck with your other projects.

Is there any chance to add button to gallery, which just simply close it, and remove all garbages after it ?

Technically, I have already done the button inside of galleryClip. The trouble is to make it work. Like closing whole swf (gallery file) and cleaning after itself. Since few days i try to figure out some as3 code, but without good effect ; )

All I need is a working as3 code for it.
