good one
Very nice player! Is there a way to stop the player after cycling through the list once?
emoss – Thanks for your purchase. This player is not set up for that. It could be done, but it would require changing some of the ActionScript code (modifications to the FLA file).
Eeeeeak! How can I get that to happen? I am utilizing it as a advertising component and do not want to annoy my viewers/listeners. I love the player and just purchased it yesterday, but can’t use it unless I can control it to stop.
emoss – I’m working on an update to add this functionality as an optional feature (player stops after all tracks have cycled through once). Hang tight – I’ll be in touch soon.
Wow, this guy is AMAZING ! I really didn’t expect such a fast turn around. The player functions perfectly for my need now. Keep-up the awesome work and support. I will definatly recommend you and purchase more products from you in the near future.
Thanks again AerisT, eMoss
eMoss – You are welcome. This was just one of those requests that I thought might benefit many users. Thanks for purchasing from me.
Hello!
I have recently purchased this mp3 player, and have been able to make it work on a webpage (seems to be working great).
What I was hoping to do was have a series of talks on a single web page (Each talk having a title and it’s own mp3 player – in a list). This would mean having multiple mp3 players on the same web page that would each reference a different mp3 file…
Is this possible to do with the Stealth Pod MP3 player?
I thought it would be possible, but at this point I don’t know how. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks.
skalyniak – Thanks for purchasing from me. In order to accomplish what you are asking with this MP3 player, you would need to set up several different XML files. Modifications would need to be made to the ActionScript code in the FLA file (specifically the name of the XML file that is imported on code line 87) and the file would need to be re-published to create multiple versions of the SWF that seek different XML source files.
E-mail me at the address on my profile page if you want to discuss this further.
Would buy if it was AS3 .
I purchased this player recently and love it, but for some reason when I load the player online it won’t play any music…. it shows the track name so I know its reading the XML it just wont start playing the track… it’s getting pretty frustrating, do you have any advice?
here is where I have the site: http://www.designbyhybrid.com/jaysoneros/
and here is a direct path to the player it’s self http://www.designbyhybrid.com/jaysoneros/flash.swf
and the xml is in the root directory. any help would be much appreciated.
best,
Jared
hybrid: Please check the following…
1) The MP3 filename entered in the XML is an exact match to the MP3 file saved on your server (case-sensitive too).
2) Change your XML to ”./track1.mp3” or an absolute address (http://...) and ensure that the location matches the location of the MP3 file on your server.
3) Try using a different MP3 file (one purchaser had some problems because some of the MP3 files he was using were not sampled at the standard 44100 Hz)
4) Check your server permissions
Let me know if you are still having a problem after you have tried the above.
Very cool
and Thank you very much

You’re welcome. Thanks for the compliment.
Can this be converted to Flash 8 (since is AS2 ) ? Is this drag&drop ?
Thanks for your interest, vampiru. To be honest , I do not know if it can easily be converted to Flash 8 (I don’t remember if Flash CS3 had the option to save down to version 8 ).
It is not “drag&drop”, but there are clear instructions included with download that describe how to embed this in a web page or into another Flash component.
