This file allows you to use the full functionality of thickbox from within flash, without the flash files in the background disappearing and without any compromise in the way you use flash.
Thickbox is yet another lightbox clone. If you dont know what lightbox is, hit it up on Google. Its the javascript popup that revolutionized popups. It is used in thousands of websites. Ever since lightbox came out, many clones appeared for different purposes.
Some of them provided video support, others flash support, etc. Thickbox is one of the best of them in that it supports all different kinds of files (flash video, flash file, quicktime, slideshows, single images) and it is light enough compared to other solutions.
There are ways to integrate the original lightbox in flash but given that it only supports images its pointless right now that thickbox supports all different file types. Using this file as a base or just copying the code it uses and the javascript files that comes with it you can show pictures, picture galleries, videos (quicktime + flv) on your flash website without any kind of problems.
This file is not “just” another flash + javascript quick makeover. The javascript files have been edited by me to allow for swift integration with flash. If you just download thickbox from the original source and try to integrate with flash, it will not work as this file does!

*please note that the export size is non realistic, since the javascript implementation is only a few kb in size and the flash size is entirely up to your project!
