Nice avatar sjumah! HAH !

Actually there are many flaws in this file. For starters, because you use getNextHighestDepth on the tip, if someone presses the mouse button over the movie clip and then rolls off of the mc, the tip remains. And the next time you run your mouse over the mc again, another will show up. The other huge issue with this file, is the fact that because he is using mouse events such as onRollover And onRollOut, if you add the tip mc’s into another movie clip you will never end up seeing the tips because of the movieClips and their hierarchy.
I would not recommend this for the average user. It will require extra work

@thorn
It is simple. It will be sufficient to add. :
/////////////////////////////////////////////////
mcTest1.onReleaseOutside = function() {
__tol.hide();
};
/////////////////////////////////////////////////

Can’t seem to get this thing to work under any condition. What is the trick? I have tried every variation I can think of. I sent email and have not heard back from you. Anyone else got a cheat sheet on this script?
@bossman
I didn’t get e-mal from you. What do you have a problem with?
I can not get this file to work. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. you can email me at info )">() nebulacompany.com. Thanks
@bossman
Send me your inoperative file to the e-mail.
This is just a Fla-file, not a component to install people…
hello
is it possible to put a dynamic text field (dynamic text field - not a text with special animation effects animation) inside the tooltip ?
thanks
@panchaia
Of course the text is dynamic. I glued in from the file fla:
__tol = ToolTip.create()
__tol.label = ” First Lorem Ipsum Lorem Ipsum Lorem Ipsum Lorem Ipsum Lorem Ipsum End ”
This works perfect for what I am doing but wondered how I go about changing the fonts color, size or type. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Never mind, I see it in your description above. I was just looking in the help file that was included. Great component!
