True full screen progressive video background with scan lines

Great file! 2 questions: - Where can we change the flv file? I’m trying to change it in video_background.as but nothing happens. The file continues to open the “new_now_take_2.flv”. - Does this file read swf movies too?

Is there any chance to have Video properly displayed ? I mean – really need to see the whole video – height . It’s scaled in a very strange way so I cant see the bottom of it.

the new updated files doesn’t have scan lines ? why ? this is the most important thing in all that.

Hi, I would like to just have one of the scan lines without the options to change them. Would you be able to help explain how I do this? Thanks for a great file. Chris

in the fla file “full screen video background_minimum_assets.fla” add a layer and drag the movie from the librarry “scansHolder” and give it an instance name of “scanLinesHolder” and place it on the last frame of the main timeline.
In the actionscript file “video_background_minimum.as” uncomment these lines. 115 and 118.
Also file with all these modifications is in the update queue ,for your convenience.

Hi, how can I change the video to my own stuff. Do I just need to make the file name the same (“new_now_take_2.flv”? I copy stuff over but it’s a blank screen when I publish thanks

you can have your own name for the video , you just need to change the name inside actionscript file .

thanks for the fast response. I’ve added my own flv file into my folder with all the other files and changed the name in the .as file, but nothing plays when it publishes – is there something else I should be doing? Sorry, but am quite new to this…

I have re-downloaded, starting from fresh to make sure. Straight out of the ZIP , the index file does not work. The buffer is constantly looping. Tested in Safari, IE and Firefox.

I went into the files looking for the problem, but can’t identify anything. Do you have any ideas? If it helps, all files work when you Test in Flash, but fail on Publish running it in the Flash Player or in Browser.
