Ultimate Masking Transition

I am having some strange trouble: I have a mask effect inside a Flash movie that works perfectly. When I load that SWF into another movie, however, it doesn’t work anymore. What gives?

How do you change the dimensions of the movie, if I place a different sized image in there it comes back with lines through it. I’m also trying to add multiple images. Thanks for any help! I want my movie to be 797w x 293h.
