Way cool.. Especially like the design possibilities given by the START and STOP snow…

Am I right in assuming you can trigger snow start and snow stop along a timeline? Say scene with person looking out window and cue snow to slowly start… and cut to interior of home and snow outside window is stopped … or something link that ;-)

Also wondering how customisable the flakes are? In OZ we don’t have snow at xmas but I can think of a fun card with gumleaves dropping…

First thanks to all for positive comments. For digido: Yes, with start and stop functions you can easy program behaviour of snow effect, just need to point at snow clip, and call function.

And yes, snowflakes are very customizible. You can select one of allready predefined snowflakes throught customizer, or easy add a new frame (with graphic of snowflake style you like) to snowflakes clip, and after that you will be able to select it throught customizer.

hello, I have used the script on a stretched screen template and on resize of window the flakes remain in the old window size, is there any way to correct that? thank you in advance

for emtemt: There is no automated feature for that, but here what you can do. There is public method resetSnowClip(), which will regenerate snow effect, so you need to call it after resizing.

Code will be something like this: snowCustomizer.snow.resetSnowClip();

If your settings were resized to parent for example, when you call it after resizing your template, it should restart itself to new parents boundaries. But you must know the moment when window resizing is finished.

Alternative way is that you put your snow clip, in some clip that already stretch on window resize, and then snow clip will stretch when that clip is stretched, but keep in mind that all will starched, snowflakes too, except you call reset method .
