ULTIMATE XML SLIDESHOW V1.0

i have purchased and modified it, where the position box, play, and pause buttons are smaller (20X10) in order to squeeze in as many photos as i can. the only problem is that it won’t function appropriately after 15 photos, so i was wondering how i could increase the limit. i mean, if i have 30, still shows the thumb boxes, but won’t start the slideshow..

Great slideshow – thanks! ...just two questions… 1. can anyone help me with linking to SWFs. I am just pointing to the swf in the XML file and even though the first frame appears it is not playing (it’s an swf that plays automatically without a button to start it). Any pointers would be appreciated. 2. in a number of the comments ‘documentation’ is mentioned. Does this refer to the comments in the actionscript or am I missing a file or a link to further documentation?

Figured out the problem with SWF but would still like to know if there is extra documentation that I’m not seeing…cheers

Guys, how to added the preloader, i try to put the preloader in the first frame, but after loading and go to the second frame the images doesn’t show up, please advice. thanks

Hi, the preloader code you are looking for is already in frame 1 on the very bottom. You need to use the bytesLoaded data with the preloader animation you want to use.

Does anyone know how to make the slideshow stop after scrolling through the images once and then leave the buttons available if anyone wants to revisit any of the images? In other words stop the slideshow repeating over and over… thanks

I have a similar comment to the earlier post. Is there a way to change the transition to a fade in/out sequence instead of the sliding in/out?

Additionally, I was wondering how to implement a “back” button, as well as an “image x of x” tag. I also purchased one of your other slideshows and would love to have that functionality on this one as well.

For everyone else, I highly recommend this slideshow. I downloaded it and have found the files easy to work with and it produces a lovely slideshow. I hope that I will be able to customize it per my comments above.

I’d like to put more text under every picture, but I’ve reduced the width to 470px so I lack space. Is there a solution tu put text on two lines? Thanks

if a next button and a previous button cant be put in, it would be totally fine to say, “nope, sorry bro. cant do it.” i would be fine with it, but i really would appreciate a response.

If I am using this as a swf module within another website – how do I go about centering the swf file because it appears in the top left corner.

I am guessing that all the formatting is in the html file – and I need the swf to center internally as opposed to externally via the html.

recently purchased your file & would like a little help on my problem.

i have your working gallery on frame 5, now when the user decides to go back to home (frame 1) & returns back to frame 5 for gallery…the thumbnail pre-loaders begin simultaneously.

but i realized that if the user presses the “pause” button before leaving frame 5 & back to home., then returning to the gallery section, everything functions properly.

with my little knowledge on AS2 ,....is there a way to perhaps reset all pre-loaders when leaving frame 5 (gallery frame in this case). So when the user returns it can function properly.

or

is there some sort or kill switch to pause animations when returning to home (frame one).

if you can send me in the right direction, it would be lots of helps
