I’m having the exact same problem as Unkietee. I’m trying to add all the layers to a new symbol so i can change dynamically change the XML file depending on what the user clicks. Everything transitions perfect except for the container, and the volume. Both of these items are offset from the rest of the items. After playing with the Action Script for a few hours, i’ve basically given up. Any idea how to fix this?
Your video does not work onn IE?
The fullscreen doesn’t seem to be working: http://streamline-learning.com/videotest/embedwithxml.html
I’m using the original files provided: allowfullscreen: “true”
Any suggestions? Thankyou.
Hello.
I don’t think this has to do with the player but I must ask so that I can rule out the possibility.
When I click a link on a web page I designed, I have a modal window open up with your player – which plays perfectly. The PROBLEM is that when I close that window the audio from the FLV keeps on playing even though the window has been closed. The glitch happens in IE and Safari. Firefox works great.
Like I said, I think the player is in tact, but might thought you’d have a suggestion.
Any thoughts?
How difficult is it to use this on a site that is built in WordPress?
Hi,
its not any more difficult than using other flash files in wordpress.
Im not a wordpress professional but I believe that there are some plugins that allow you to easily embed flash content into your blog. This here for instance: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/kimili-flash-embed/

Hi Damojo,
I purchase the player last week, and it works beautifully with progressive download, but not video streaming (rtmp://) from a flash media server. I then returned to this page and saw nothing about streaming capability. Can you reply if it has this functionality or not.
Thanks Tim
Hi, I am having the same problem mentioned previously with the fullscreen mode. The video stays the same size when I try the full screen. The player goes to fullscreen but the video stays the same size. The video in the example works correctly, so not sure what files may be missing. Please help me fix this problem. I need the video to go to fullscreen with the player.
Thanks, Bryan
Hello, beautiful flash player!
Got it working fine on my site, but how do I make it not buffer unless the user presses play?
Good night! In the XML file if instead of videoURL = “video / video.flv” use videoURL = “video/video.mp4, the player will usually load the MP4 file, correct? Thanks
Hi,
as said, it highly depends on the codec and embedded meta data of the video file. What you save the file as (flv, f4v, mov, etv.) does not play a role.
I would suggest you try a program called “free video converter” which allows you to output an .mov with h264 codec.

Greetings,
I purchased your file 2 years ago and have a a problem that I have had, but now a client is insisting on a fix.
Problem: fullscreen playback button, set to “fit” plays as you see my video. http://www.creativew.com/access/download/verizonreviewWhen I set the parameters to “stretch” is does what it is suppose to.
Your download file has its parameters are set to “fit” but it takes your video and proportionally scales the video, which is what I need to happen with mine and cannot figure it out.
Am I being clear? Any help would be awesome!
Thanks
Sorry about the link. I was not clear on protocol.
Your product video pixel settings are 480×360. Your .xml setting is scalemode=”fit”.
When opening your embedwithxml.html in a browser, and clicking on the scale button in the player, your video does scale to “fit” PROPORTIONALLY in the browser.
My video .xml setting is also set to scalemode=”fit”, but when I open my embedwithxml.html in a browser, and click on the scale button in the player, my video remains at the original pixel size and does NOT scale or “fit” proportionally, like your product demo.
Your scalemode=”stretch”, when applied to yours and my .xml file does in fact take the video and “stretch” it, so that all browser real estate is taken up by the video.
Example: I have a Apple Cinema screen and my setting is 1920×1200. When I click on the scale button in the player and view your video on my browser, there are black bands on the right and left side of your video. This action is correct, in that the video is scaling to “fit” proportionally. When I change your .xml setting to “stretch” and again view your video on my browser, your video in fact “stretches” in the browser and “snaps” to all corners without any black bands.
What I need is to have my scalemode=”fit” perform like your product demo, in that when the setting in the .xml file is set to “fit”, the video actually scales, but “fits” proportionally in the browser real estate BUT does not “stretch”.
I really thank you for your thoughts on this, in making it work.
Just purchased, checking it out now but from what I can see it’s just as expected and needed =)
I just have one question, is it possible to get a URL variable into this anywhere?
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <videoplayer bluramount="10" autostart="false" scalemode="fit" videourl="video/Destruction Is Bliss.mp4" blurquality="1" highlightcolor="0xCCFF33" buffertime="0.1" videobgcolor="0x222222" height="360" width="480"></videoplayer>
I’m not familiar with XML and how it works, but I was hoping to use a variable such as watch.php?video=182762, and the videourl=”video/182762” – Can this be achieved?
I wasn’t asking for YouTube or Vimeo support, I was asking if it’s possible to change the Videourl so it can be dynamic, IE: www.mysite.com/watch.php?video=123, then the videourl=”123.mp4”
Aha! I love it
– I’ve got it working as I needed now, pretty cool too, I’m enjoying learning from the source too.
