Desc: Just because your site isn’t ready yet doesn’t mean your domain can’t be working for you. While you’re working to get the real site up, let this temporary page generate interest and keep your future users informed.
There are 4 main modules that can, but don’t all need to be used. You can also put them in whatever order you like.- Countdown Timer – Let your users know exactly when you’ll be ready. It uses universal time and is easily customizable down to the second!
- Twitter Status Slideshow – Get Twitter followers long before you launch and keep them informed of your progress. This module cycles through your last 20 Tweets and is easy to customize.
- Newsletter – Find out who’s really excited about the site launch. This Newsletter module is a simple PHP file that emails you when someone signs up. Though it doesn’t hook into a database, with a little PHP work it could easily be worked into a pre-existing contact management system.
- Text – This is where you can put whatever text you need.
Other cool features:
Includes a favicon.ico (favorite icon)
HTML text including links, color, and bold.
Uses the browser’s scrollbar.

- April 13th, 2010 – The to and from email on the newsletter were mixed up. This is a necessary update! Files on the server should be updated by the 15th.
