HI all,

This is a great map!!!

I do have a question, how can i remove Alaska and Hawaii from the MAP ??

I tried opening the FLA and HIDE these LAYER , but when i publish nothing seems to be working anymore…

You can just disable these states like the Utah example in the preview, but they will still be visible.

Thanks LGlab that would works with me.

Now i have an other issue, when i refresh the page in IE 8 .0 the page Flash breaks and i can only see 9 states on the top corner. I tried it on the preview at the top of this page and it does the same thing… is there an easy fix to this ?

Any Help on this would be appreciate it.

Hi All,

I just resolved the issue by adding ?cache=<? echo time();?> after both file names.. it seems to be a Caching issue with IE… I also noticed that the French works perfectly in IE?

How can I convert the gradient color on the states to a non gradient color ?

Hi,

It’s not really a gradient color, but rather a gradient mask, which would need to be removed manually on each state in flash by double clicking each state and deleting that mask layer.

Speaking of mistakes… I don’t know why, but when I download the files I cannot get any of the URLs to work (even fresh out of the box) – I even tried to get the XML file from this page: http://s3.envato.com/files/369039/index.html It works on the page, it doesn’t work when I download it, should I changes something in FLA and recompile?

Hi,

This sounds like your flash player security settings are stopping the map from accessing the web, e.g. go to a URL , the map will work online though. But you can set your flash player security settings to allow for local access to internet, just follow the instructions on this page: http://marketplace.envato.com/item/liquid-2-as3-xml-template-with-deeplinking/faq/137146

You can just set its color to the same color as the background, this way you won’t see it.
