What a great little menu. I particularly like that you can set it to run a function! Do you have any plans to make this 2 level? I would buy this in a flash if it was 2-level… Thanks.
Thank you iamerica
There are no plans to this in near future…
Hi there, I would only like to use this as a navigation menu. how can I delete the the “replace with your own content” part?
I want to have it 2 level but on click it should slide out on right hand side. To do this can i use two instance of your menu on 1 file. On click of 1st menu items i’ll call to load 2nd menu. Is this possible?
hi bhavik
this menu currently supports one level. i have no plans to modify the menu soon…
hi sphere,
you should be able to edit it easily with Flash editing software, do you have one?
How do you get this to embed on a typepad blog?
Check it: http://okinawahai.typepad.com/vertical_menu.swf I set up the menu. But If I put it in the sidebar, it doesn’t show up. What embed code should I use?
hi okinawa,
i’ve sent you via e-mail the detailed instructions on how it can be done correctly.
Hi, can you adjust the line height/spacing between the menu items?
Cheers Pete
hi Pete,
Currently there’s no way to modify line height in XML . But you can achive that by combining these two steps:
1. Edit the code in the vertical_menu.as (line 3):var item_bottom_space:Number = 16;
2. Open vertical_menu.fla, then go to movieclip “menu_item_text” and set vertical position of the text box.
Export file to SWF .
