Nice Video Gallery and really cool videos! Keep it up!

I like this, very clean and flexible, fast design – thanks!

I’m having problems with the width and height variables in the xml file. When I change them The video gallery does not respond. It stays at 640 X 510 . I know that the xml file is being read because I’m able to change the videos – just not the size.

Any ideas?

I recently bought this video player – it’s a piece of really good soft but there is one problem. You wrote that this player has “autoplay” function, but it’s rather “auto change video” because user must always click “play” manually. For that reason your player is useless for me, because I’m making website of my music club, and after entering my site, video should play automatically (like you wrote in Item details). Also after end of one video, the next video should start automatically.

I saw in your “preview” that video isn’t autoplaying, but I thought that there wasy “autoplay off”

I’m not a flash developer and I’m not able to change your script. Maybe is there a simple way to make a real autoplay? Without clicking “play” button?

Hi, working great (dreaded but) I’m trying to delete all the other videos via XML and am using this code to do so:

<?xml version=”1.0” encoding=”utf-8”?> 640 360 false true 0.7 0xffffff images/ap.jpg thumbs/ap.jpg videos/ap.flv VIDEO 1
Game results and details go here>

But I get this error when doing so:

TypeError: Error #1091: XML parser failure: Unterminated CDATA section. at com.flashaman.videoplayer::Videoplayer/ReadXML() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent() at flash.net::URLLoader/onComplete()

Prior to eliminating all the other videos via XML , my video showed up and worked. Thanks for your help.

Code pasted into the above comment didn’t seem to take, but all I did with the XML file between the opening and closing gallery tags is delete all the items except for the first one

OK, the above has been solved, but I want to place all the elements in one directory and I see where I can change the images, thumbs and videos directory in the XML , but where do I change where the SWF looks for the XML ? Do I need to change videoplayer.as? Line 68 states the XML is in a directory called XML . If I eliminate that and just reference private var _xmlURL:String = “videogallery.xml”; will it wok?
