Hi! Thank you for the feedback! :)

@Miguel: the bubble gfx can be easily changed if you open the fla (CS3+) and edit the movieclip containing it (you can put whatever you want instead of the bubble, or just change its color or alpha). The file you buy has a flat blue background (and not this blue gradient I used for the preview). I left it flat so you can put it to transparent (wmode=transparent) and use it in an html page (so it will stay over the page background), or you can instead open the fla and just put a background layer on the first frame (a gradient, another color, a jpg, etc…;).

@tabliz: hi! thanks for your purchase! To increase the number of bubbles just edit the global variables in the first frame of the .fla. In your case: “maxBubbles” : the maximum number of bubbles you can see on the screen simultaneously (default=18) “intervalBetweenFirstBubbles” : the first bubbles will be generated with a fixed interval between each other (default=5)

if you have other questions please write me directly so I can see what’s the problem in your specific page

Is there a way to change the blendmode of the Bubble? So that the bubbles can run as overlay etc?

Hi creativenature! Thanks for your purchase.

To change the blend mode of the bubbles:
  1. open the “Bubble.as” class
  2. go to the end of the “StartBubble” function
  3. just add: this.blendMode = “overlay”;

or use another blend mode like: difference, screen, multiply, etc…

Sorry for not having thought about this feature from the beginning… :)

Hi Andrea,

Your bubble code is great – really love it. However, when I bought the code I was not aware that it was AS2 only. Unfortunately I am doing an AS3 project with this code. I guess I read CS3 as AS3 .

Do you have an AS3 version you could share?

Thanks

I love your animation. Buttttt.. I need to mask it. I need it to appear inside a specific shape only. Any mask I do seems to be ignored. Any help?

Thanks Dax

hi dexcastro,
thanks for the purchase and sorry for the dalay of my answer.

Your problem is releated with the fact that the bubbles are placed in the main timeline and not inside a movieclip (that you can easily mask).
I have improved this in the version 2 of the bubbles (AS3).

I suggest you buying that version, because it has also a lot of other improvements, but I understand you have already paid for this one, so please send me an e-mail and I will send you a modified version of this that can be masked.
