I had a small question about the XL Template from Flashden. I want to load my own SWF that i made myself. Everything works fine, but the black transparant background, as used in the template, is also in my own SWF . How can i get rid of the black transparant background?

Second question. Is it possible to give the menu background (footer) a fixed position.So that it does not move up when the site loads? If yes, how can i set that?

I allready find it out, i deleted mov_border inside the mov_content MC.

The only thing now is that the GALLERY doesnt work..

Can you tell me how i can fix this?

Hello Charlie78! Great work! I would like to buy it but I have a question. I see there is only fla files available, does it mean it’s not xml driven or it is a mistake?

First of all, great work on this template! You are truly a creative individual. And your support for this file here on ActiveDen is nothing short of astounding, especially compared to other developers who have similar quality files. I commend you for helping out your customers after the sale!

Just a quick and hopefully simple question for you before I purchase this file, can the size of the slide show on the Home page be adjusted larger? It looks like it’s about 800 pixels wide and since most of my customers have large, wide-screen monitors, I would like to increase the width of the slideshow to at least 960 pixels (if not larger) and the height by a corresponding size. I would also like to do that on the About Us and News section as well.

If it can be adjusted, would it be something simple like changing the stage size in Flash and then changing the corresponding Action Script code where you set the stage size? Or would it be something that you would have to do on a freelance basis?

Man, that seems too easy!

I’ve customized a couple of site templates from other developers and absolutely none were that easy. Just to make sure I understand you correctly, all I’ll have to do is alter two values in an xml file and size my images to that size and the slideshow portion will be larger and centered on the Home page?

If so, I will purchase this file in a month or so when I get my next payment from a client!

I have a problem publishing the file “preview.fla” that I slightly modified. As you wrote in the help file, I installed in Flash CS3 the last version of mc_tween2, but when I try to publish I get this error message in the output panel:

Position: Scene=Scene 1, level=actions, frame=1, line 3 Description: Error opening inclusion file mc_tween2.as: file not found.

Hello Charlie, we bought your Flash XL-Template and so far the experience has been great. There is a personalization tough we have unsuccesfully tried for quite a few hours: in the video player we don’t need the left and right arrow that switch between pages since all the videos are in the first page with the scrolling. Therefore, is there any way to get rid of them? We tried deleting the arrows from the “arrow” layer in the video_player.fla but they still appear and function. We then tried to remove those from the preview.fla but as a result they are lost in the photo gallery making it unusable. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance and best regards

Hi Charlie, I am interested in the CMS with this template but trying the demo cms, I haven’t seen the option to add a module in module settings. i.e. if I need to have three pages with html content (so the about_us module cloned three times), I can do it without to modify the fla? (I’m not skilled with flash). Thank you

Hello Pirenko, i congratulate you, it´s a great job. I have a question though:

The 640×480 .flv files that you include in your product as “examples” e.g. MVI _4345.flv fits the video player display area just fine, but when i use my 640×480 .flv file it appears like 30% smaller and does not fit exactly like yours, why is that?
