XML and CSS Scrollbar

Maybe I’m asking too much but when I bought this flash I didn’t expect to have the 3 buttons on the left, I just needed the scroller with a default xml loaded with a white background…. Now I’m stuck in Flash, I don’t know AS and each time I modify the flash It’s not loading anymore any xml file… And the well documented is it a joke ? 8 bullet points ?

i forgot to tell you that the image is loaded well, the scrollbar works fine and the link is active, because when the mouse is over appare the hand, and i can go to the link.

i loaded this into my project (i loaded the scrollbar.swf file) and when i preview the flash movie (in flash) the swf just shows up as a flashing blue box. How do I fix that? Maybe it will just automatically be fixed when I upload everything to my server?

hello Chuckanucka, i use your script on a project and it’s working quite fine. there’s just one thing i’d like to change, but i don’t know how? The problem: the font looks different on each platform and browser, e.g. on pc i see seriftype, on mac the fonttype is sans serif. Id like to use a specific font (futura book) in regular and bold. do you have a kind of user agent detection for the css in as? Thanks a lot for your help. ceek21

hi chuckanucka, another thing. hopefully you can help. i couldn’t fix the font problem inside the flash file (futura was stretched very ugly), so i changed the css. but now i realized on mac that the curser doesn’t change its shape when rollover a link. how can this be managed?? thanks a lot.

Hey just wondering, I purchased the XML scroller, it works fine, i was just wondering if you had an easier way to format the text in the xml? Is there a common xml editor where I can just typ with having to enter the
tags constantly, like if I space it writes the code and text class automatically? thans for your help!

Before I buy it will it work OK if used loadmovie to load it into another AS2 scrollbar file which dynamically moves with the browser? My website requires a dynamic liquid layout – but having your file added to this with CSS capabilities would be awesome!

Is it possible to control the timeline from within the xml-files?

Is it possible to have outside buttons that moves to a certain position the scrollbar? Also from another frame?

Is it possible to make it support separate tags for images? Like <image><![CDATA[cowboy.jpg]]></image> so XML editor would pick up the image and I would be able to edit it?
