XML based full screen video player

Hi vamapaull,

I just purchased the file, but why the full screen feature not work for me? i just download your file then i play the .swf and click the full screen button but it doesn’t show with full screen. please assist.

how easy is it to resize the movie window to 720×405

nice clean AS code. easy to customize. was able to feed a xml src url to the script to call it from a dynamic php page.

one thing i had to edit was listening for a buffer.flush rather than play.stop because my flv files are created in ffmpeg/flvtool2 which doesnt interract with netstream so well. using buffer/flush triggered at the end of each video nicely.

How to load this player into another movie and keep the “normal” size (not full screen) as it is 330×283. Right now when I load it it gets resized to the root stage size.

Is there a variable and where could I add it to “maintainAspectRatio” for the full screen video feature for displaying on widescreen displays? When viewing on a wide screen display it stretches the video, just looking for a way to maintain the ratio.

hey. quick question. is it possible to have only the video part of a website go FS, or does “going FS” affect the entire swf on the page?

As mentioned in milanikko’s comment, I would also like to know how to make a 320×240 in a root movie that is 640×480 return to 320×240 when returning to normal size. Currently when returning from full screen the video scales to 640×480 not 320×240. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I’m curious, does this video player support the rtmp video streaming protocol?

@biggwilly390 – You need to modify the AS 2 .0 code a little if you want that… not it works with progressive download

How easy is it to load into another movie? When clicking the fullscreen button, you said that the entire swf now is going fullsceen too, but will the video still get all stage’s width and height? And will it effect the other graphics from my swf?

@gabrielsantana – yes, the video player will take all the stage in your project… you can add it into another swf if you modify some code in the onResize function

I have a very large flv to load (30 M and it seems as though the player is having trouble loading. 1. The load bar dosnt fill up 2. i added the 2 lines (playPause.gotoAndStop(“play”; and ns.pause(true) but it still dosnt work

what am i doing wrong?

@blackblack – I tested this player with 400MB flv’s and it works just fine… it just depends on how you are converting your videos
