And, can I alter over all 590×300 movie dimensions to be wider / shorter in height?

Of course, you only need to change in the XML the path for your images (help included). And for other resolutions, just change the Stage and the mainMask width and height.

does this work with xml only? Does it work, for example, with internal movie clips that load external images?

Hello I’m trying to load this slideshow into an empty movieclip, however, when I do that, the controls disappear. Is there anyway to fix this? thnx

adrianpan, this uses xml, you can configure to avoid the XML file.

Hello, thanks for this great transition. Is there any way to have an image appear over a portion of the transition effect?

Like a static logo in the left side that is not affected by the transition?

Brian that is possible, you must add dynamically. Find the last this.createEmpty….. and after that add these lines

this.createEmptyMovieClip(“logo”,this.getNextHighestDepth())

logo.loadClip(“yourlogopath”

(BTW to solve the above problem I decided to just take the logo out of the flash and float it next to the flash in the html…

I may have jumped the gun and purchased the wrong transition altogether, but maybe this can be tweaked to suit my needs.

Now my client would like the “in” transition animation to start right away with no pause, instead of the embedded static image showing at first then waiting and finally animating into the first xml loaded image.

And is there any way to have different text animate in over each image?

I also really like your square mask that transitions directly from image to image, as opposed to a swipe of white squares, and then a swipe of the next image. Can this file be altered to do all of these things, or do I need to start over with a different transition template?

The only functionality that is a must have for them is the “animation on load”, though…
