OK, i hate to be a bother… but I’ve got one more question i hope you can help with. I am experimenting, and when I change the hex codes in the actions under example01 to paint the background differently, only the stage will load (with appropriate color changes). I can’t get example02 to accept the changes at all, and it always just shows the green radius. Thoughts?

You need to create a separate directory for each instance. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support flashvars. Regarding the colors; make sure you have the required source code paths in your classpath definitions. Have a look at the help file to learn more about classpath definitions.
2 questions
is it possible to set the file so it does not automatically rotate through the news
and, is it possible to set it that the user needs to click in order to see the news, rather than roll over

My answer to your first question is yes. The file does not have a setting to view the news upon click, however, you can go through the source code and implement it yourself.

Hi,
The background layer can be removed by editing the fla file. Open the fla file and delete background layer. See the help file to learn how to republish the project.

How can I get the caption to wrap? I want it to display it on multi-lines. I’ve tried editing Detail.as like this:

The app suddenly “stopped working” after a couple years. . . Yea, I know.. we must have changed something . . .
We really have no clue as to what’s going on. We tested in different pages on the site… the xml files are still there . . . it looks like the progress bar displays and then stops.
