How can I display the entire player at a smaller size on my site. I have tried editting the height and width settings in the html code but that just shows part of the player. Thanks
Hi helenloc Thanks for the purchase. You have to go into the main.fla in flash to edit the sizes of the actual graphical elements, and the size of the stage. Just editing the size in the html won’t work… It does require some customizing. I can do this for you if you wish. Contact me through the form on my profile page for a quote… http://activeden.net/user/pointguard
Thanks
Hi there
I do like the player, if there was for example 7 short clips as shown on the right can they be made to play one after each other automatically
Then if the user wanted to review a certain part of the video they could click on the right hand side icon just to replay that part
Thanks
Ian
Hi Jeff
Sorry I didn’t come over clear
What I was after is that I upload all the clips, that they play one after each other automatically
Then when they have all played if anyone wants to have another look at a particular segment or clip that instead of searching through the main video they can click on the clip they want to see again, saving time searching and making navigation through a long video a lot simpler
Thanks
Ian
oh, cool…well teh second part of that is set up and running now. When you click on an image to play a video clip, it will play that one…
I can add a snippet of code to make the clips play one after each otehr, no problem…
...and the function of clicking an image of not the next / previous in the sequence will still work…
contact me via my profile page if you make a purchase and I’ll send you an update free of charge ASAP

Thanks Sir Jeff
The programme is excellent, exactly what I needed
I am in no way an expert at this, but I found the documentation excellent, easy to use the programme and upload without a hitch
If only everything I do was as easy as this I would be a happy man indeed

glad you like the file…
i like the xml scrolling gallery you have but i have my own swf that loads swfs, displays closed captions, etc. If i do purchase it, would it be relatively simple to get this to swfs rather than flvs
Hi Jeff,

I was so impress that I don’t took the time to read the fine print. lol what I was looking for is a Youtube Player with Play list.

wow great work, bookmarked
Thanks Jeff for the very quick turn-around on the fix for “After switching to full-screen (and back to normal resolution using “ESC”), the playlist section was missing.”
For those who are interested in the auto-play feature.
The auto-play kinda-sorta works in that the 2nd video (in the playlist) will play after the 1st video completes. But, the 3rd video doesn’t auto-start after the 2nd completes, and so forth. Also, if you select any video (except the 1st) to play, after that video finishes, the next video in the playlist will not auto-play.
Am I able to put this player into my own fla like a drag and drop?
How do I do that. I cant figure it out. Thank you in advance.
Fantastic Player!
How do you change the blue glow under progress bar? Also, how do you change the “green” unplayed part of the progess bar?
Any insight is greatly appreciated!
Hi Engel003…
Thank you for your purchase. You can change the glow by double clicking the items on the stage directly, until you have the bar with the glow selected. In the properties panel, go to filters, and you should see the glow filter added. Just select a different colour in the small swatch box.
...to change the colour of the green bar, find that movie clip in the library and double click it from the library window. This will open up the edit mode of that clip and you should be able to work out how to change the colour from there.
Any problems, give me a shout and I can send you a new file if you let me know what colours #references you want the 2 things above…you should be able to work it out though, it’s fairly easy
Thanks again Jeff
I really appreciate you getting back with me so quickly. I was able to change the glow around the progress bar, but I can’t find the movie clip that controls the green part of the progress bar.
What is the name of the movie clip for the green part (remaining time part of the progressbar)?
That movie clip is called ‘bufferedbackground’. You can actually double click the control panel clip from the stage and it’s on a layer called ‘buffered_video_time’. The default green has a slight alpha % to it as well, so if you change the colour from the swatches panel, remember to change thealpha to 20% for the same ‘see-thorugh’ effect.
Cheers, and good luck with the project you’re using it in… Jeff
That Worked!
Great Support! Great FLV Player!
If I change the name of the XML file from gallery.xml to data.xml, where do I change the name galley.xml to data.xml in the galleryfkvplayer.fla file?
Hi Engel…
On the main stage, on the ‘scroller’ layer, there is a clip called ‘Gallery’. Double click this to open the edit mode of that clip. The top layer called actions has some actionscript in it, so click once on that layer, and in te actions panel you should see the code. On layer 43 it loads the gallery.xml file, so change xml.load(“gallery.xml”);
to
xml.load(“data.xml”);
Hope this helps… Cheers Jeff
