Just one thing, I think there is a problem with the slideshow. Photos can’t play automatically…

Is it only with me ?

They play automatically, but once you start browsing through the images, the slideshow stops. You can re-activate it by pressing “Play”.

Hey does the number of pictures on the bottom change if I add less pictures. Like if I add 5 pictures rather than 15, will the square buttons only produce 5 buttons or will the other 10 be made also and just be blank?

It’s exported for Flash Player 8. You can export it for 7 if you want.

Hi Bobocel. Im having a slight problem with the script. I wondered if you could grab me on msn or skype (ive added you, but i dont remember which one i added you to)

To explain the problem, im trying to use some of my own images, they are jped and using the same naming configuration as the standard ones however when i try to use them they are not showing, or the flash file isnt loading them….

Make sure your images are not progressive.

i have. Even if i alter just one of the images it fails to load.

Hi bobocel, I’m in hunt for a good slide show for my gallery. I liked your “|Pause” and also this one. I like you some questions before I go ahead and buy it.

1. I hope the size of the images are resizable; just want to make sure……….. 2. Dose the name of the pictures matter? Renaming the pictures would be a great pain in the neck now. 3. I know its XML driven but the way I designed my site, I’ve to generate the XML automatically using php or Perl script. How flexible it is with “using XML ”? 4. And also, is it a predefined (hard coded, I’d say) name for the XML file, which I need to use? Can it use any name as the XML file which is changeable from the HTML ? 5. Is it possible to pass the image index (e.g. $image²⁰) to instruct the slideshow to start from there? Say, for example, I have a thumbnail index page and if the viewer click on a thumbnail, the slideshow will start from that particular picture only. Is it possible?

@jhrps: that’s really difficult to do, since the movement of the thumbs is controlled by their width also. You would need to change the duplicated movie clip and Actionscript code as well.
