XML Gallery Component – 4 scroller positions
This is the perfect compact gallery component. This gallery does not offer just 1 lay-out, but 4. With this gallery you can choose where you want to position the scrolling thumbnails (top, bottom, left or right). This is shown in the preview file. You can use the arrows at the top right to look at the gallery with the scroller in all 4 positions.

It’s easy to use!
It’s a simple movieclip, that you can drag and drop onto the stage and you are good to go.

It’s easy to configure!
Configuration is done via XML .
The general parameters for the gallery that can be set from the XML file are:

• The thumb dimensions
• The image dimensions
• The height of the description area
• The text margin inside the description area
• The speed of the thumbnail scroller
• The position of the thumbnail scroller

The size of the gallery is automatically determined by the dimensions of the images and thumbs. If you are going to use a vertical scroller, which is next to the image. Then your gallery’s dimensions will be W: (thumb width + image width) x H: (image height). If you are going to use a horizontal scroller, your gallery’s dimensions will be W: (image width) x H: (image height + thumb height). For each image you can set the following in the XML file:

• Thumbnail
• Image
• Title
  If you leave the title blank in the XML file, the title area will automatically not be shown when rolling over the image.
• Description
  The same goes for the description area, when leaving it blank in the XML file.
• URL , with an extra attribute window.
  You can make each loaded image clickable, with the URL you supply in the XML file. The attribute window determines whether you want the URL to load in the same window(_self) or in a new window(_blank).
