XML image carousel

Hi Jurgen,

Thanks for your carousel – it’s really great and easy to implement for someone who stopped learning actionscript at Flash v5.

I’m implementing it for a large company here in New Zealand (will leave a comment in the HTML saying it’s your component – best I can do).

1 small problem: the movement of the 3 objects I have (when rotate is set to mouse x y) appears to tween based on 4 objects.

The objects appear to move in a square (farleft/back/farright/front) rather than a smooth circle????

Any tips greatly appreciated.

But instead of loading the image location from the onPress, can you suggest a way to allow to image to be displayed actually inside the movie itself?

For example, once an image has been clicked on, it displays larger inside the movie above the carousel with a description of the image..

Would it be possible to direct the user to a page or separate URL when they click an image rather than to the image itself in a new window?

Also, would it be possible to show hover text or a tooltip to say what the image was that they had their mouse pointer over?

Can open this with mx2004. Can you please send me the version you sent Scott above.

Can we add png or gif or swf files too?

I try png but it doesnt work. Only Jpg files?
