This is a really great and well made file. I honestly think you should release a version without the whole dragging thumbs thing, because that would sell very well

Hi MBMedia, Thanks for the feedback. The dragging is an extra feature to make this file more unique. I think if it wasn’t mentioned I am sure many people would not notice it is there, so I don’t think it takes away from the gallery. yes? no?

tonypearce , the thumbnail sizes are adjustable in the XML file, they can be any size you like, the gallery will self adjust to any thumbnail size.

Excellent work pokey76. I would like to ask something. If I buy a contact form here in flashden, will it be possible to incorporate it in this template? Will it be easy? Thus, I could use this excellent template as a small portfolio, and add a way for those interested in my work to contact me . If I buy the template, can you explain to me how to incorporate the contact form? Best regards

Yes you can put in any swf file into this gallery. It does depend on how the contact form is built for the forms functionality, if for example they have not used local paths but rather “_root” in their actionscript then there may be some hic ups with the contact form. The easiest way to implement it would be to load it as any other image, as this gallery can load jpgs, pngs, gifs and swfs. its super easy that way and the demo file shows a loaded swf. or there is other little ways of customizing the file to get a more personalized fit, I also offer fee based customizing if you would like.

yes you can add links, there are examples in the preview gallery. the text accepts html tags, so you can have links, change font colour etc… there is no limit on how much text can go in the description text, it will be effected by the size of the gallery. the text box will change in size to accommodate more text, take a look at the preview and you will see the box size changes in some of the longer text. the price to customize would depend on the contact form you have and what exactly you need done. for basic edits and to add a specific button for the contact info would be about $25. a bit more if your needs start to get fancy…

I really like this gallery set up but the thumbnails are too small for my taste. Im desperate to see more thumbnail ‘grid’ style galleries that open LARGE images that fill at least 800×400, and provide clearly visible arrow navigation to and from large images and back to the grid. I dont like the drag and drop feature in this one. I have been looking at all flashden galleries and really havent found what I need. Is it appropriate to request custom work here?

The Thumbnails can be whatever size you like, they are 40px X 40px thumbnails here in this preview, but you can have 200px X 200px thumbs if you like, the gallery will adjust to ay size.

The drag feature is easily disabled as well.

Hi, is this easy instalation like “Drag and Drop this Gallery from the library onto your project Stage”?

I really want it working with 200 images at least. I need to display the thumbnails on top or botton of my project and can you adapt it to make the row rolls to show all images in one or two rows? I know it will be an extra job and I have to pay it.

Recently bought this and i find a great bug in the menu drop and down when i change the content of the btn of gallery “gallery one” for “gallery of the month” the text superimposed to the arrow down and also the menu is very tiny how change this??
