XML image slideshow - banner rotator

This is a general question for this type of viewer. Can I use different size pictures without the need to adjust the flash or does each picture need to be the same size as what the field is now?

This particular slideshow (and all my other slideshows, as well) has a built in function resizing the images to the right size. So you can make this slideshow any size you want and put the images any size they are and the application will resize the images to fit in the window.

However, it is always better to resize images using proper graphic software before uploading to the server:

• they look better
• the files are smaller, therefore load faster

I would suggest another version or an addition of next previous buttons so the user has the choice also leave a slide show button I think its a great effect.. and if I haven’t said it already.. NICE !!!

I just bought this flash and have a simple question. The images I am loading are all of the same exact size: 800X223px. I set the same dimensions to my flash document and also in the html that call the flash movie. So there is no need for scaling. But when images are loading in the movie, there is a small white margin (like 1px) on the right and another (like 2px) on bottom. Any suggestions?

this transition can’t operate on fractions of pixels, therefore the result of dividing width by the number of slices has to be an integer value. Unfortunately 223 is a prime number.

love this effect. just purchased. it is amazing and EXACTLY what i was looking for. one question… i am using this transition to pull in one image, for the header of a web page. since i am only using one image, i just want it to pull in the image and then stop the transition. is there any way to get it to quit looping the transition over my one image? thanks!

I purchased this item and it shows it to be a xml-image-slideshow-banner-rotator.zip saved in Dreamweaver but it will not open in Dreamweaver. Am I doing something wrong?

You need to unzip the file first…
