Thanks for your question, Yes, you can use UTF -8 characters like “é” simply by opening the xml file using “notepad” then change the Encoding to be “UTF-8” and save it again as “settings.xml”

That will allow you to use special characters in the info. box, and if you want to use it also for the rollover names, you need to embed the wanted characters in the tooltip text. for more info about how to embed special characters in a flash file please check this tutorial.
