XML News Scroller V1.0

Hi Based_on_Birds. You can’t change display order. ?tem ID is not important. scroller always start display from first XML item. You can move highest priority news item to first item from XML .

thanks for the tip… just that when i changed the order of the xml file (i changed it so that the highest IDs went first and descended to the lowest IDs) the news items did not show up correctly… in fact only a few of them showed up.. is this because of the looping in the actionscript?

The scrolling text can be made links correct?

Hi there, when ever i have put return spaces (after entering “enter” on my keyboard) in the news text it fails to display the news post correctly and it also stops loading other news posts after that one. Can you tell me why this is and how i should fix it? I thought ignorewhitespace function is supposed to remove all the white space… any ideas?

awesome ticker!! Quick question before I buy it…

If I set the ticker swf to be 100% in width in an html page, is it designed to fill up a screen from one side to the other?

I have bought two other scrollers that look amazing, but are not designed to resize to fit the width of a browser..

There is this message ” more detail click here” showing after my text. I wish to disable it. I am not sure where it comes from, obviously not from the XML file. Please advise. I would appreciate if you can send me some Html files displaying the scroller. Thanks
